Volunteer Work

I am the type of person who is extremely active and try to stay involved and give back tot he community I am in as much as possible. During my time in the military I volunteered whenever possible as I felt it was my duty while serving my country to also represent the armed forces ina positive manner. I also took on leadership roles in several organizations on base inluding serving as Vice President of an enlisted excelence organization and President of the Robins Roller Hockey League and Paintball Club. While president of the Robins Roller Hockey club I was able to petition to get $80,000 alloted to the building of a new plexi-pave outdoor hockey rink. The rink was built and added to the quality of life for the enlisted and their families.

Since returning home, I have been more involved in ministry including working with Christian Campus House as well as Catholic Charities. I also started two clubs at Eastern Illinois University including both the EIU Racquetball and Paintball Clubs both clubs have grown tremendously and the EIU paintball team currently holds the National title for the NCPA for 2007. I love to be involved and I am a truly motivated individual when it comes to helping others.
